Kogas March LNG Sales Down

South Korea’s Kogas, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, said its LNG sales volume totaled 3.52 million tons in March, down 0.9 percent compared to the same month in 2013.

The company sold 38.68 million mt of LNG last year, compared to 36.55 million mt in 2012.

Kogas recently signed a deal with Australia’s Wooodside to buy 2.2 million tonnes of LNG over a three year period from the Pluto project with deliveries scheduled to start this month.
