Liquiline LNG secures new contract

Norway-based Liquiline LNG said it has signed a contract with Gexcon for the mechanical assembly and installation of an LNG terminal on Gexcon’s new test facility at Sotra outside Bergen.

We have the last year established a very good relationship with Gexcon, and this is the second contract/delivery to this customer,” Knut Førland, managing director of Liquiline LNG told LNG World News in an e-mailed statement.

Liuiline LNG bought last year technology solutions, LiquiSys, the brand name Liquiline and other intellectual property rights formerly belonging to Liquiline AS and Liquiline Europe AS which went bankrupt.

The company puts main focus towards providing liquefied natural gas bunkering solutions. It completed on July 1 an LNG bunkering terminal for Fjord Line in Hirtshals.

This is the first terminal of its kind in Denmark and Fjord Line uses the facility to bunker their LNG-powered ferries.
