Terminal operator Klaipedos Nafta noted in its monthly report that the facility regasified and reloaded 0.47 Twh of natural gas, 79.1 percent above the 0.26 TWh in the corresponding month last year.

However, the preliminary sales revenue from regas and reloading activities from Höegh LNG’s FSRU Independence used as Lithuania’s first import terminal in the port of Klaipeda dropped 16.4 percent compared to January 2018.

Sales and revenue reached €5.6 million ($6.3 million), which compares to €6.7 million in January 2018. Klaipedos Nafta said the revenue for January 2018 was higher due to adjustment of actual booked gas capacities for 2017. Adjustment for actual gas capacities for 2018 are not calculated and has not been recorded yet.
