LNG deliveries to South Hook keep coming

The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is scheduled to receive another shipment of Qatari liquefied natural gas.

According to the Milford haven Port Authority website, the Al Shamal LNG tanker, with a capacity of 217,000 cbm, is sailing from Ras Laffan and is scheduled for arrival on April 26.

The vessel is set to arrive only two days after the Umm Slal LNG carrier and it will be the fifth carrier to dock at the South Hook terminal’s jetty and sixth delivery to the Milford Haven waterway in the month of April.

The South Hook terminal, owned by Qatar Petroleum, Exxon Mobil and Total can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
