LNG Filling Station Opens in Port of Antwerp

The first LNG filling station in Belgium has recently opened in Kallo, in the Antwerp port area on the left bank of the Scheldt.

The construction of the terminal cost about €1 million.

Liquefied natural gas is safe,  more environmentally-friendly than diesel and is about a quarter less expensive.

The filling station stands on the site of the port company Adpo, but it is open to everyone.
