LNG Libra Delivered to Hoegh

Höegh LNG of Norway said today that the 1979 built 126,400 m(3) LNG Libra was delivered to the company in Singapore and will remain in Singapore until tomorrow, when she will be delivered to NWS to commence her 6 month charter.

Höegh LNG Holdings announced last year the purchase of the LNG Libra from BGT Limited (a subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K Lines) and that the vessel would be chartered out to the North West Shelf project (NSW) in Australia.

Technical management will continue to be provided by MOL LNG Transport (Europe) Ltd. during her charter with NWS.

Höegh LNG’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Sveinung Støhle, said in a comment: “We are pleased to have taken delivery of the LNG Libra from our long standing partner Mitsui OSK Lines and look forward to commencing the charter with NWS. We are very pleased to serve NWS and further develop our relationship with them.”
