Louisiana LNG Energy seeking potential new investors

Louisiana LNG Energy filed a report with the United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on project activities conducted from March 19 to April 18, 2015.

According to the filing, Louisiana LNG Energy is currently re-evaluating the natural gas market and working with potential new investors for the project.

The company also informed that no modifications have been made to the project scope, but it anticipates that the project scope will be moved back to the third quarter of 2015.

The company plans to construct four liquefaction trains with production capacity of 2 million metric tons of LNG per annum. It also proposes to build LNG truck loading and marine terminal facilities.

Louisiana LNG Energy has secured a 200-acre site on the Mississippi River downstream from the Port of New Orleans near mile marker 46.
