Macduff-Designed 23m Mampaey DOT Tug Nears Completion at Torgem Shipbuilding, Turkey

In August 2012, the 23m Mampaey DOT tug under construction at Torgem Shipbuilding, Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey was in the final stages of fabrication prior to being launched.

In June 2012, Macduff secured it’s largest single contract for a total of ten vessels comprising five new designs. The order has been placed by Torgem in Turkey who are building the vessels for Saudi Arabia.

The vessels range from a 15m general service boat, 15m pilot boat and a 25m ASD tug through to a 30m ASD tug and a 46m oil collection barge.
