Marine Renewables Specialist Joins Invest in Cornwall (UK)

Invest in Cornwall, a service of Cornwall Development Company (CDC), has announced the appointment of Amanda Pound to the position of Marine Renewables Business Development Specialist.

Amanda will be instrumental in attracting inward investment and will support growth and the global promotion of the indigenous supply chain within Cornwall’s marine renewables sector.

Amanda joins the Invest in Cornwall team, which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, having previously worked at A&P Falmouth, where she was responsible for developing the business within their marine renewables sector. Amanda has a first class honours degree in Renewable Energy and is currently working towards an MPhil Renewable Energy Degree. Amanda studied for both degrees at The University of Exeter’s Cornwall Tremough campus in Penryn.

Her passion for marine renewable energy and green issues will be a real asset and enable us to broaden our business development capabilities.
