Marotta Controls Names New Senior Vice President (USA)

Marotta Controls announces that it has promoted Michael J. Leahan to the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development and Chief Sales Officer.

Mr. Leahan joined Marotta Controls in 2002 as Vice President and Chief Sales Officer. Under his leadership he has skillfully steered the company to expand its core offerings from singular valve and component offerings, to include fully integrated systems and sub-systems for demanding precision control applications. Mr. Leahan has also substantially elevated Marotta Controls’ effectiveness and competitive position by focusing on the needs of the customer, finding the right balance between customer requirements and the capability offerings of Marotta Controls. With this customer-centric focus he has aligned the company’s offerings to meet the emerging requirements of the aerospace and defense industry, improved customer satisfaction and substantially increased Marotta Controls’ market share in all segments.

“Mike is a driving force that brings a unique vision and discipline to Marotta Controls,” said Patrick Marotta, president and chief operating officer. “For the past ten years he has led many of the strategic shifts that established Marotta Controls as one of the fastest growing technology companies today – and we have every expectation that Mike will continue to enhance the profitability and growth of our business as we enter the next decade. Mike’s competitive drive, trusted industry relationships and proven revenue generation make him an invaluable asset to the Marotta Controls executive team as we continue to expand both domestically and internationally.”
