Vessels

Malaysian LNG shipper MISC informed that its vessel Seri Bakti delivered the first liquefied natural gas cargo loaded at Santos’ GLNG plant to Kogas’ Pyeong Taek terminal in South Korea on Tuesday.

Being a first loading operation, both the terminal and vessel carried out various operational tests on board, the company informed in a statement.

“The tests at the terminal included frequent cleaning of the shore tanks strainers. When the shore tank filled about 95,000 cubic metres of LNG, the terminal then commenced the loading of LNG to the vessel on 10 October 2015,” the statement reads.

Loading was completed on October 14 with LNG quantity onboard going at 150,648.688 cbm which is 98.5% of the total capacity of the vessel.
