MMT Group appoints new chief executive officer

Sweden-based marine surveys specialist MMT has appointed Per-Olof Sverlinger as its new chief executive officer.

Sverlinger comes from the management consultancy firm Triathlon Group where he is one of two founders and has been the CEO for more than 15 years.

MMT said that during his time at Triathlon, the firm has grown into a sizeable, stable and successful international management consultancy with a client base in large and medium-sized Nordic industrial companies.

Sverlinger holds a Masters degree in Civil Engineering and has earned a Ph.D. degree in management of professional service firms with a specialty in technical consultants serving the construction industry. He has been an officer and a clearance diver in the Swedish Navy.

Johan Berg, chairman of the board of MMT Group, said: “We are welcoming Per-Olof and wishing him all success in his role as CEO. I am confident that together we will continue the successful development of MMT.”
