Engineering company Monadelphous on Wednesday said it has won a five-year contract from Australian LNG player Woodside.

Under the deal worth about A$600 million, Monadelphous will provide gas asset general maintenance services and brownfield offshore implementation for Woodside-operated gas production facilities in the north west of Western Australia.

The contract, which has an option for a two-year extension, includes maintenance and shutdown services for Woodside’s Karratha gas plant, Pluto LNG, North Rankin Complex, Goodwyn A and Angel platforms.

Monadelphous noted in its statement it had worked with Woodside since 2002 undertaking various project activities. The company has also since 2012 been performing shutdown and maintenance services for Karratha gas plant and the Pluto LNG export terminal.
