More Qatari LNG bound for South Hook

The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar.

The 210,152 cbm Q-Flex carrier Fraiha is scheduled to dock at the South Hook terminal’s jetty on October 3, shipping data reveals.

It will be the second October delivery to South Hook only two days after the 210,000 cbm Al Karaana LNG carrier unloads its cargo on October 1.

The South Hook terminal, owned by Qatar Petroleum, Exxon Mobil and Total can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
