Shell Resumes Gas Supply to Bonny Terminal

LNG player Shell has resumed gas deliveries to the Bonny terminal in Nigeria, nine days after declaring force majeure on September 23.

Their gas supply is now restored and we expect that they remove their force majeure,” Bloomberg cited Anne-Marie Palmer-Ikuku, a spokeswoman for Nigeria LNG as saying.

Nigeria LNG has loaded eight LNG and two condensate cargoes since September 20 and is currently producing at 95 percent,” she added.

NLNG is owned by four shareholders, namely, the Federal Government of Nigeria, represented by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC (49%),  Shell Gas BV, SGBV, (25.6%), Total LNG Nigeria Limited (15%), and Eni International (N.A.) N. V. S. a. r. l (10.4%).
