Noble's Jack-Up Stays with Centrica Until 2016

UK’ oil and gas company Centrica has extended a contract for Noble Julie Robertson jack-up rig, owned by Noble Corporation.

The jack-up rig, which has been under a contract with Centrica since March 2012 on a dayrate of $118,000, will stay with the UK-based operator until April 2016 on an increased dayrate of $150,000.

Centrica has used the rig for drilling of development wells at its Ensign and York projects, both located in the Southern North Sea, off UK.
