North West Shelf LNG cargoes on offer

Woodside-operated North West Shelf LNG project is reportedly offering to sell a cargo that is set to load later in October.

Sources revealed to Reuters that the cargo is being sold by the project’s marketing arm, the North West Shelf Australia LNG, that will put one more cargo on offer for loading in early November.

Sources added that two more cargoes could be on offer from BHP Billiton and Chevron, shareholders in the NWS LNG project.

The North West Shelf project, that includes the Karratha gas plant has a production capacity of 16.3 million tons a year from five liquefaction trains.
