Norway: BP Norge Gets Consent to Use MSV Regalia and Safe Scandinavia on Valhall

 

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has granted BP Norge AS (BP) consent for continued use of the mobile living quarters facilities MSV Regalia and Safe Scandinavia on the Valhall field.

BP has previously received consent to use the living quarters facilities MSV Regalia and Safe Scandinavia as flotels on the Valhall field.

The new consent relates to continued use of MSV Regalia until 18 October 2011, and Safe Scandinavia until 31 March 2012.

The mobile living quarters facility MSV Regalia is a GVA 3000 design built in 1985 at GVA in Sweden. The facility has 380 beds.

MSV Regalia received the PSA’s Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) in July 2009 .

 

Safe Scandinavia was built in 1984 at Aker Verdal according to an Aker H-3.2E design. The facility has a maximum of 583 beds.
