Norway: Ulstein Group Becomes Cornerstone of the Ulstein Community

The community of Ulstein is selected as the most attractive amongst 438 Norwegian communities. Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Liv Signe Navarsete visited Ulsteinvik to deliver the news, and together with the mayor Jan Berset they paid Ulstein Group a visit.

Ulstein Group is a cornerstone in the community of Ulstein, and a driving force for equipment suppliers and the maritime cluster at Sunnmøre.

The company’s deputy CEO Tore Ulstein, pointed out that to be an attractive community you have to be able to create and offer exciting work places.

CEO Gunvor Ulstein presented the challenges the company has regarding transportation and communication to the Island where Ulstein and the group is situated, and stressed the fact that the company is dependent on good infrastructure to be able to develop and grow further.
