Norwegian Continental Shelf 2013 Factbook Avaliable for Download
Norway’s Ministry of Petroleum and Energy together with the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate are publishing “Facts 2013 – The Norwegian petroleum sector”.

The publication provides a general overview of information regarding the petroleum activities on the Norwegian continental shelf.

At year-end, there were 76 producing fields on the Norwegian shelf. Six new fields started production in 2012. Thirteen fields are undergoing development, and a total of 30 fields and discoveries are in the planning phase.

Twelve fields on the Norwegian shelf have been shut down. No fields were shut down in 2012.
