Norwegian LNG cargo on way to Gate

Dutch Gate LNG terminal in the port of Rotterdam is expected to receive a cargo of the chilled gas from Statoil’s Hammerfest plant in Norway.

The 155,000 cbm Arctic Aurora departed from the liquefaction plant on the island of Melkoya on Monday. It is scheduled to dock at Gate on July 3, shipping data reveals.

Last week, the Coral Anthelia berthed at Gate terminal marking the 100th time an LNG carrier called at the Dutch first terminal.

Year to date Gate’s customers used the terminal for 11 unloads (with LNG arriving from Qatar, Norway and Algeria), 5 large loads (to Argentina and Dubai) and 9 small loads (to Sweden and Norway).
