Ocean Electric Presents Off Grid Wave Energy Project

Last September, in the framework of the IX Renewable Energy Conference, held in Portland (Oregon), Ocean Electric introduced its technology and current project in front of an attentive and professional audience.

The conference, annually organized by the Oregon Wave Energy Trust (OWET), is focused on the renewable industry technological developments year after year. This edition took place in Portland during the 24th and 25th days a depth analysis of the renewable energy sector was performed, including panels with relevant speakers in the sector as NMREC, Portland University, Oregon Military Department or the US Department of Energy, for example. There was also a chance to show the technological developments and the evolution of several companies, including industrialization plans, were Ocean Electric was invited to speak.

The company, OCEAN ELECTRIC, presented its current wave energy project for non-grid connected consumption; along with its goal of establishing a corporate headquarter in Portland. Thus, the presentation intended to expose the developed technology and seek partnerships with companies to carry out the project to supply Pacific area clients from Oregon’s harbors.
