Officials to Discuss Lake Manawa Dredging
A follow-up meeting to discuss two Lake Manawa projects totaling more than $10 million is scheduled for 1 p.m. today at the Game and Fish Club, 531 Comanche St, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The meeting will address concerns heard from Council Bluffs residents during an October 12 meeting about the project, which includes adding full-hookup campsites and dredging the lake to improve water clarity.
Officials with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources stated that they hope to begin dredging by summer 2015.
