Offshore Energy Day 1 in Photos

The 8th Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) held in Amsterdam, the Nederlands from October 13-14 is ramping up with more visitors expected every year.

The OEEC is focused on the complete offshore energy industry covering both the exploration and production of the conventional energy resources oil & gas and the renewable sector, including wind, wave and tidal energy.

The event was opened by Coert van Zijll Langhout, Director of Navingo BV, and Scarlett Mummery also known as The Offshore Blondie.

After being asked to come to the stage, Coert van Zijll Langhout thanked Mummery for sharing her experience from the industry: “We hear a lot about a big need that we need to inspire the next generation and you are here and thank you for that. What I learned from this discussion is that the big responsibility for us all is to promote our industry and to inspire the youth and then we will grow.”

Many companies from the subsea sector are exhibiting this year expecting to meet old clients and also looking into new possibilities outside the challenging oil & gas market.
