Oil Search Hires Neptune for Diving Work Off Papua New Guinea

Neptune Marine Services has been awarded a diving contract by Oil Search under its existing Master Services Agreement for inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) works in Papua New Guinea.

The contract, for which the engineering phase has started, includes the provision of diving services for facilities maintenance at the Kumul Marine Terminal located in the Gulf of Papua.

Neptune will perform the services from the dive support vessel DP2 Crest Odyssey 2, which is expected on site early next year.

Neptune chief executive officer, Robin King, said “We are proud to be into the second year of this MSA working closely with Oil Search. We have now opened a branch in Papua New Guinea to help support ongoing works and to clearly demonstrate our commitment to PNG.”
