Oman LNG to Shut One Train for Maintenance

Oman LNG plans to shut one LNG train for maintenance on April 18 for thirty eight days, Times of Oman reported, citing Oman LNG’s Chief Operating Officer Rene de Nier .

Oman LNG operates three liquefaction trains at its site in Qalhat, near Sur of which are two owned by Oman LNG and one by Qalhat LNG.

The main shareholder in Oman LNG is the Government of Oman (51%) in cooperation with Royal Dutch Shell (30%), Total S.A. (5.54%), Korea LNG (5%), Partex Oil & Gas (2%), Mitsubishi Corporation (2.77%), Mitsui & Co. (2.77%), and Itochu Corporation (0.92%).
