Osaka Gas Plans Joint LNG Purchases with Japan, US, Europe Companies

Osaka Gas of Japan is looking at possibilities of jointly importing liquefied natural gas with other Japanese power and gas utilities and also with companies in the US and Europe, Platts reported, citing the company’s president Hiroshi Ozaki.

The company is also looking at participating in unconventional gas projects overseas

Osaka Gas recently said that it plans to purchase 7.19 million mt of LNG during fiscal 2012.
