Yesterday China provided a satellite image to Australia possibly showing a 22.5 meter floating object in the southern Indian Ocean.

The P3 Orion crew reported seeing two objects – the first a grey or green circular object and the second an orange rectangular object at about 2.45pm (AEDT).

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) also announced that several small objects of interest were identified by air observers on a civil aircraft during the search on 22nd of March.

The US Navy P8 Poseidon aircraft sought to relocate the objects reported by the Chinese aircraft but were unable to do so.

The search for the Flight MH370, which disappeared en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 08 with 239 people on board, continues.

HMAS Success remains in the search area along with several aircrafts.
