Petronet: Kochi LNG Terminal Works Almost Complete

Petronet LNG of India, the country’s largest LNG importer, said it will commission its Kochi LNG terminal by end of March, local media reported, citing the company’s CEO and Managing Director A K Balyan.

The work on the Kochi LNG terminal is almost complete and final testing of some equipment is going on, he said.

The terminal is located on a 40ha site in the Puthuvype special economic zone and will have a capacity of five million tons per annum.
