Petronet LNG’s profit climbs 45 pct in Q3

Petronet LNG, India’s biggest liquefied natural gas importer, posted a net profit of Rs. 2628.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, up 45 percent compared to the same period a year ago.

The company’s total income has increased from Rs. 95096.10 million for the quarter ended September 30 in 2013 to Rs. 110150.10 million in the same quarter this year.

Petronet operates two LNG terminals, the first at Dahej in Gujarat with the capacity of 10 Mtpa, and the second with a capacity of 5 Mtpa in Kochi, Kerala.
