PHOTO: UMW’s new jack-ups

Malaysia’s UMW Oil & Gas has today sent us an image showing the delivery of their latest offshore jack-up drilling rig, UMW Naga 6.

On the right is the newly delivered UMW Naga 6, and beside her is UMW’s second rig from CMHI, UMW Naga 7, due for delivery December 2014.

The rigs are independent-leg cantilever jack-up units with a drilling depth capability of 30,000 feet and a rated operating water depth of 375 feet.
