Picture of the day: Ichthys LNG onshore skyline

Around 8000 people will work at the Ichthys LNG project’s Bladin Point site on any given day during peak construction.

The Inpex-operated project is expected to produce 8.4 million tonnes of LNG and 1.6 million tonnes of LPG per annum, along with more than 100,000 barrels of condensate per day at peak.

Gas condensate from the Ichthys field offshore Western Australia will be exported to onshore facilities for processing near Darwin via an 889 km pipeline.
