Piping Service Steuer Netherlands Wins Supply Contract

Piping Service Steuer Netherlands has received a contract to provide the complete supply of stainless steel pipes, fittings and flanges for the construction of FPSO Cidade de Marica and FPSO Cidade de Saquarema. 

Piping Service Steuer Netherlands was commissioned by SBM Offshore and Petrobras contract for the supply of stainless steel, serving two new FPSO’s.

Cidade de Marica and the Cidade de Saquarema FPSOs will be operating under a Joint Venture in hands of SBM Offshore, Mitsubishi Corporation, Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha and Queiroz Galvão Óleo e Gás.

SBM will have a share of 56%. The FPSOs are destined for ‘Lula field’ in the ‘Santos basin’ located 250 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.

“This contract is a milestone for piping service Steuer Netherlands, we have proven ourselves as a flexible, professional and reliable contractor for the construction of FPSO Cidade de Paraty FPSO Cidade de Ilhabela. We are very pleased once again to be allowed work on the construction of this 3rd generation FPSO projects,” according to management.
