Poland: Mayor of Gdansk Visits Local Shipyard

Paweł Adamowicz, the Mayor of Gdansk. On November 9th, in the presence of the Ukrainian owner and the President of the Board Andrzej Stokłosa, Mr. Adamowicz visited Gdansk Shipyard.

The meeting took place in the afternoon at the Gdansk Shipyard. The Mayor along with two Vice-Mayors Wiesław Bielawski and Andrzej Bojanowski and the City Council Chairman Bogdan Oleszek were invited to acquaint themselves with the shipyard’s production potential. The Visitors had the opportunity to see the largest prefabrication hall in Central – Eastern Europe, the latest shipbuilding investments executed over last two years, as well as the modern line for wind towers production or the construction site of the new painting facility.

Afterwards the President of the Board presented the investor’s plans for the forthcoming years, part of the Gdansk Shipyard’s business plan. The meeting on the 9th of November was the first meeting of the Gdansk Mayor and the Shipyards’ authorities long since.
