Polarcus Board Director Resigns

Polarcus has informed that Dr. Henrik Madsen has for personal reasons resigned from the board of directors.

Dr. Henrik Madsen’s resignation is effective from November 21, 2017.

He was elected as a director of the board in May 2017, for a term of two years.

He is known as the former chief executive of DNV GL, member of the World Council for Sustainable Development, and a board member for the UN Global Compact.

Polarcus chairman, Peter Rigg said: “Henrik’s background and experience had been with large and complex organizations, and he has played an important role in devising the strategy to enable Polarcus to succeed in an extremely difficult seismic market. We are very grateful to him for his contribution.”

The company’s nomination committee has been informed and will make recommendations to shareholders in due course concerning the size and composition of the board for the future, Polarcus said.
