Ultra NDT S.C. has been selected as the third-party responsible for non-destructive testing, with Jaworski Energy Services providing project management and technical supervision over the contracted scope.

ENGIE Fabricom and Iemants started engineering work on the Hollandse Kust Noord offshore transformer station in June, with construction work for the topside and the jacket scheduled to start this month.

The joint venture’s scope of work consists of the engineering, procurement, construction, offshore installation, connection and testing of the offshore transformer station.

The substation consists of a 45m high jacket of 1,930t and 870t piles to be placed in 24m water depth, and a topside structure consisting of four decks weighing approximately 4,100t. The topside structure is 47m long, 35m wide and 25m high.
