Possible Debris of Flight MH370 Seen Offshore Australia

Australian authorities have released satellite images of what could be the missing flight MH370.

Possible Debris of Flight MH370 Seen Offshore Australia.

The images show two objects floating in southern Indian Ocean around 2,000km from Perth, BBC reports.

The aircraft en route from Kula Lumpur to Beijing vanished on March 08 with 239 people onboard.

The Australian Defence Force, the US Navy, a commercial jet and merchant ships covered a 23,000 kilometre area, about 2500 kilometres south-west of Perth during today’s search.

AMSA also reported that two merchant ships remain in the search area.

The Royal Australian Navy HMAS Success is also en route to the search area and is due in the area on 22 March.

The current search area has been identified based on satellite data imagery from the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO).

The images have been assessed as being credible but it is possible they do not relate to the search for MH370, AMSA said in a press statement.
