Prezioso scoops BP gig in Norway

Prezioso Linjebygg AS has been awarded a contract with BP Norway, covering modification, inspection and multidiscipline maintenance services based on rope access techniques.

The contract applies to all BP’s 13 platforms and one production vessel on the Norwegian continental shelf, which includes the following fields: Valhall, Hod, Ula, Tambar and Skarv.

The contract has a duration of 3 years and up to 9 years including option periods. The contract value is estimated to approximately NOK 20 million ($2.4M) per year, giving a total of 180 million. The contract will be managed from Prezioso Linjebyggs office in Stavanger, in close cooperation with BP.

“We are very pleased with the award of this contract, which is one of the largest within rope access in Norway,” says Managing Director Kristoffer B. Jenssen.

“BP’s plants fit well with our delivery model, where our innovative solutions will contribute to cost reductions and extended life for the installations. We look forward to a long and good cooperation with BP.”
