The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal is scheduled to receive a cargo of the chilled fuel from Qatar next week.

According to the port of Milford haven data, the Nakilat-owned Q-Max LNG carrier Bu Samra is expected to dock at the South Hook terminal’s jetty on December 13.

The 267,335-cbm carrier, one of the world’s largest LNG vessels, was on Wednesday located in the Mediterranean Sea, its AIS data shows.

This will be the second December cargo for the South Hook terminal following the arrival of Q-Flex LNG carrier Al Ghashamiya earlier this week.

Natural gas flows from the South Hook LNG terminal to the UK’s national grid on Thursday noon was close to 6 mcm per day, according to the data from the National Grid.
