Qatargas: LNG Supply Will Remain Tight

Alaa AbuJbara, COO – Commercial and Shipping at Qatargas, held a presentation during The Global LNG Summit, a part of the Flame Conference.

During the presentation Mr. AbuJbara said that the global LNG supply will remain tight in the following years.

Talking about the European LNG supply, he said that last year Qatargas signed contracts for more than 4,5 MTPA and the company is committed to European customers.

AbuJbara added that Europe needs to import more LNG, and to reduce the usage of coal and oil.

Speaking about small scale LNG, he said that more and more companies are using LNG for transport and Qatargas is supporting this part of the industry as well as promoting LNG as bunker fuel.
