Qatari LNG cargo bound for Zeebrugge

Belgium’s Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal is set to receive a cargo of Qatari chilled gas at the end of November.

The 148,800 cbm Al Jassasiya LNG carrier departed from Ras Laffan on November 11 and it is scheduled to arrive in Belgium on November 27, shipping data reveals.

The Fluxys-operated LNG terminal is currently undergoing expansion with the construction of the fifth storage tank that is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2018.

Fluxys recently also completed the construction of the Alveringem-Maldegem pipeline that enables the connection of Belgium gas grid to the Dunkirk LNG terminal.
