Qatari LNG heading for Zeebrugge

Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge LNG terminal is scheduled to receive its second liquefied natural gas cargo in April from Qatar.

According to the port data, Awilco’s 2013-built LNG carrier WilPride with a capacity of 156,007 cbm departed from the Qatari LNG complex at Ras Laffan on April 3.

The carrier built by the South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering is scheduled to dock at Zeebrugge LNG’s jetty on April 19.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
