Rosneft President, Venezuelan Oil Minister Discuss Trade and Economic Cooperation

On the first day of the visit to Venezuela, the head of the Russian delegation Rosneft President Igor Sechin held talks with Venezuelan Oil Minister Rafael Ramírez.

Besides, Igor Sechin met Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs Elias Jaua. The parties discussed a wide range of issues regarding development of trade and economic cooperation between the countries. E. Jaua said that they also talked about a scheduled visit of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to Russia to take part in the summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, which will be held in Moscow in early July.

Igor Sechin also visited the Hugo Chávez memorial.

Further, Rosneft President plans to visit production facilities of the joint venture PetroMonagas.

The Russian delegation headed by Rosneft President consists of executive officials and business representatives, including among others Inter RAO UES, Uralmash NGO Holding, National Oil Consortium, OMZ, Gazprom neft, Eurofinance Mosnarbank.
