Rowan Norway Rig Gets AoC

Rowan Drilling’s jack-up rig Rowan Norway has been granted an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) by the Norwegian authorities.

This means that the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway considers the rig to be in compliance with relevant requirements in the Norwegian petroleum activities regulations.

If the facility operates outside the Norwegian shelf, the owner can choose whether or not to maintain the AoC. If the owner chooses to maintain the AoC, the owner is required to follow up that the preconditions for the AoC are satisfied at all times.
