Royal Haskoning Wins CIPR PRide Award for Wind Energy Campaign

A corporate positioning campaign for the wind energy division of Royal Haskoning, created by PR agency Proteus, has scooped a prestigious Gold award at the CIPR PRide awards in the Corporate and Business Communications category.

The 2011 regional awards were judged by a national panel of peers. The campaign created by Proteus PR was designed to raise the wind sector’s awareness of Royal Haskoning’s full service offering, strengthen the company’s ‘voice’ in the media and generate new business leads.

Outlining why the campaign had been chosen as the overall winner of the regional Corporate and Business Communications category, a spokesperson from the CIPR judging panel commented: “Through a targeted and well integrated campaign, Proteus PR delivered a hard working media relations programme that included a particularly creative mailer, as well as a direct marketing campaign to generate revenue from new business leads. The campaign linked closely to business targets and delivered exceptional value for money.”

Proteus PR’s direct marketing campaign delivered high quality opportunities to Royal Haskoning’s renewables team.

Paul Davison, Managing Director of Proteus PR, comments: “It’s fantastic to have our efforts recognised by the PR industry and we’re particularly delighted to have won Gold for one of our wind energy clients. There is an immense amount of PR talent across the region, so to stand out from the crowd with this recognition is a testament to the creativity, commitment and client-focused approach that Proteus strives to deliver.”

The CIPR PRide Awards recognise public relations success and achievement in the nations and regions, with over 1,200 entries UK-wide this year. The CIPR PRide Awards is the only awards scheme which showcases the best PR work being carried out across the UK regions, and helps to set industry standards.
