Russia - Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg Reloads Heavy-lift Equipment Delivered from Hamburg

The specialists of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (“SPSPb”) together with the employees of “Universal Forwarder” successfully reloaded heavy-lift import equipment – two rolls for steel rolling mill with the weight of 227 tons each. Cargo was delivered from Hamburg on the board of the vessel “Captain Kuroptev”.

One roll was reloaded from the vessel to the special railway platform at the berth 39, the second roll was reloaded on auto trailer by the floating crane “Bogatyr” with the capacity up to 300 tons.

The first roll was transported along the railway road to Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, the second roll was transported by trucks to Kolpino, to affiliate of JSC “Severstal”. Transportation of the cargo to final destinations was performed by “Universal Forwarder”.
