Russian and Algerian Shipbuilders to Determine Specifications for Algerian Navy Corvettes

Russian and Algerian shipbuilders and military experts determine specifications for corvettes which could be possibly built for Algerian Navy, said Roman Trotsenko, the president of United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).

“We have already set interagency commission for this issue. Concept design of the ship is being determined. Russian experts are working in Algeria now“, Trotsenko said.

According to him, Algerian party asked not to disclose terms of potential contract.

Earlier on, at International Maritime Defense Show held in St. Petersburg Trotsenko said about possible export of two corvettes to Algeria.
