Russian LNG Cargo Heads for Japan

Japan’s Futtsu liquefied natural gas terminal is scheduled to receive a cargo from Russia next week, according to port data.

The cargo is being hauled by the 145,963 cbm Grand Mereya tanker, and it is due to arrive at Futtsu terminal on April 6.

The Futtsu Thermal Power Station, one of the most representative power stations using LNG is operated by Tokyo Electric.
