Sabella recruits for site engineer

French tidal energy developer, Sabella, is looking to expand its team with the addition of a new site engineer.

The site engineer for Sabella will work both with commercial and project development teams.

The scope of work for commercial team includes performing site characterization and energy potential studies.

When it comes to project development team, the site engineer will be tasked with supporting all environmental impact studies, as well as providing feedbacks from the field.

Sabella aims to fill out the position by the end of 2016, the company informed.

To remind, Sabella retrieved its 1MW D10 tidal turbine in July this year, following one year of deployment in the Fromveur Strait, off Ushant island.

Sabella intends to reinstall the turbine at the same location this fall, with additional plans to develop tidal energy projects in Philippines and Indonesia.
