The navigational safety specialist laid the planned 29 warning buoys at the site despite challenging weather conditions in February, with only a three-day installation window.

Expected to be completed by the end of 2021, Kriegers Flak will comprise 72 Siemens Gamesa 8.4MW wind turbines and will be Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm once commissioned.

In the coming months, the 72 monopile foundations and turbines with a total height of 188 meters will be installed at the site.

The wind farm’s inter-array cables are scheduled to be installed this summer.
